Vikings vs Titans (Min vs Ten)…
I made the executive decision to THROW MY PURSE AWAY! I checked online prior to going to @usbankstadium I should’ve been fine. Upon arrival, it seems like their drawing of dimensions were off LOL, regardless, my purse didn’t fit within this drawing they had. I had 3 choices:
1. Return my purse to my vehicle. We had parked maybe 4 blocks away. So it wouldn’t have been that bad however, it was HUMID. My daughter gave me a look like, “you’re gonna be walking by yourself.”
2. Check my purse into some random “mobile truck locker” (lack of a better term) for an additional $15
3. Throw the bag away
Clearly I chose the 3rd option with minimal hesitation (there’s a vid in this thread). Here’s what’s interesting, God already told me when I was at home to not take my favorite purse. I listened. It wasn’t my fav, but it had been with me all Summer. It was my go-to purse. I purchased it in April of this year.
Of course I was reminded of a lesson… some things and people are only in your life for a season! When their time is up, bless ‘em, wish ‘em well and keep it moving. You can’t receive your next blessing when you’re holding onto something that has an expiration date in your life.
My baby and I went on and had a great time. She decided she loves football, wants to go to every Vikes' game and even wants to play - aiight, noted.
